meet the owner

Luis Casillas was born in Santa Barbara, California. When he turned 2 years old his mother and father moved to Guerrero, Mexico where he was raised. Sadly, his father tragically passed away when Luis was 15 years old. He then became the sole provider of his family as he had 4 younger siblings. He decided he needed to move to Texas, where he has family, to get a better paying job. Now we all know that at the age of 15 you cannot get a decent paying job. So, he started mowing lawns for residents here in Bryan, Texas. Here, he met his wife Esther and now have 3 beautiful children, Caleb, Aaron & Elli Rose. Luis knew with having a family he needed a higher paying job with benefits. Despite his passion for landscaping and lawn maintenance, he got a job in the oilfield where he worked for 16 years. He found himself missing out on family events because of the long hours in the oilfield and the out of town stays. He knew this was not what he wanted. He decided to do landscaping on the side as he still needed the benefits for his family from the oilfield. This continued for 5 years. Having 2 jobs was hard. He had to make a decision and chose his passion for landscaping to be his one and only source of income. Casillas Landscaping was born! Being dependable, professional, and performing high-quality work is at the top of his priorities. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Esther and their 3 children. They enjoy going to church every Sunday morning, fishing, beach trips, weekend getaways and a good old BBQ with friends and family.
